Disillusioned with our UK pension prospects, we counted our savings and trawled numerous internet web sites looking for a low-cost renovation or rebuild property in the Algarve, Portugal. Whilst many sites did not have properties within our price range, most did not even respond to our enquires and it was a pleasant surprise to receive a prompt and friendly reply to our email request for information from SunSeaker Properties.

They quickly established our budget and the type of property we were looking for and at no time tried any of the usual estate agent's tactics to try and stretch our budget or persuade us to consider projects that were beyond our remit.

We corresponded by email and chatted by phone until they identified enough suitable properties for us to arrange a visit to the area. Words are not enough to describe and sum up the quality and depth of service provided by SunSeaker Properties, which verged most of the times on being personal and friendly. One can only experience the "on call" personal assistance of the highest sincerity. In modern parlance we can say 24/7/365 service.

It would be best to take one through all the stages from initial viewing on the internet to actually spending a couple of weeks in the dream holiday home.

SunSeaker Properties have a very good user friendly web site where they meticulously list property for all tastes and budget. They helped us identify property matching our needs and budget. They were very helpful in answering our questions and concerns. The communications were by e-mails and dedicated local dial telephone line. They helped us to compile a list of property that would interest us.

I and my wife then decided to spend two weeks in Algarve going over the recommended properties. I had similar arrangements with other agents. SunSeaker Properties were very efficient and arranged viewings to meet our schedule. We were able to compare the service provided by SunSeaker Properties with other agents in Algarve. I must add here that they were head and shoulders above others and wanted the best for their customers. They met us and discussed the properties we had viewed to ensure that we viewed correct properties.

Once we had identified properties in which we were definitely interested, SunSeaker Properties put their mighty negotiating skills to work to get the right purchasing price for us. Once the price was agreed, it was trek to the local solicitors for legal process. Needless to say the solicitors came with a strong recommendation from SunSeaker Properties.

Not wiping their hands of the matter, SunSeaker Properties were happy to assist us through the legal process, talking to the solicitors and vendors on our behalf. We definitely needed someone who could speak on our behalf in the Algarve.

On our second visit we were busy furnishing the villa. By this time SunSeaker Properties were no longer agents but our friends in the Algarve. They helped us identify furniture suppliers, visiting them with us and even recommending the furniture that would be most suitable for our needs. In less than six months we had completed and furnished our dream holiday home, thanks to SunSeaker Properties.

In December, our family decided to spend the Christmas in our home in Praia da Luz. We were indeed delighted to have our friends from SunSeaker Properties with their family over for an evening meal. It was a most delightful evening spent in the company of our new found friends in the Algarve.

I found SunSeaker Properties on the internet whilst looking for property in a specific area of the Algarve and their website was attractive and well laid out. When we decided to make our "fact finding trip" out to Vale da Telha, I contacted SunSeaker Properties who were extremely helpful and efficient and made appointments for us to view properties and plots.
